The Proximity sensor is turned on by default. If you experience unexpected deactivation or dimming when adjusting the light's modes are brightness levels, it could be due to your hand covering the sensor. You may deactivate that sensor by holding down the mode switch for 6 seconds while the light is off. The light will flash eight times indicating that the sensor is disabled
